The Chateau Garli borrows its architecture from Colonial, Portuguese, Mughal, Rajasthani and Kangri influence. Built by Lala Mela Ram Sud in 1921, it is set in the heritage village of Garli. Though the structure fell into a state of disrepair as it was not visited by anyone for nearly 2 decades, in 2012, his great-grandson, Amish Sud and grandson, Yatish C. Sud, planned to restore it.
The beautiful blue and red Belgian chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, a gramophone and a large wooden radio in the living room along with the Chambal Thal in the living room will reminisce the treasures from a bygone era. Savour the flavours of the Himachal cuisine at the royal kitchens of the estate. Lounge by the banks of river Beas and binge on the crispy fried fish or let the local staff serve you food and booze by the swimming pool.
